Classic Massage Intervention follows a Code of Ethics dictated by the New Jersey Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy.
- We treat our clients with the utmost respect and dignity.
- We assure their privacy, safety and confidentiality.
- We are committed to high-quality care, honesty and professionalism.
- We assure personal and professional boundaries.
- We require all of our massage therapists to be licensed by the state and to renew their licenses every two years.
- Hands will always be clean/washed, and any part of the massage therapists body that comes in contact with a client’s body will be clean with soap and water, or hand sanitizer. This also applies before and after providing massage and bodywork therapies for each client.
- A disinfectant will be used prior to the massage to wipe exposed surfaces such as massage tables/chairs. It will also be used to clean the equipment afterward.
- Massage lubricants will be stored in sanitary containers according to the manufacturer's recommendations and kept free of debris.
- All materials and linens shall be stored off the floor in shelves, containers, cabinets, or closets. Clean linens and dirty linens shall be stored separately.
- All linens will be properly laundered and new sets of linen will be utilized for each client.
- A clean environment shall be maintained in the massage and bodywork therapy establishment and the environment will be well ventilated.
