Ursula graduated at the top of her class from The Ocean County Massage Institute, directed by Jill Houston, a leader in massage therapy and founder of Ocean County Massage Institute. After spending over 15 years in Corporate America and Big Pharma, she grew restless with the common theories of medical treatment. She came to the understanding that the human body cures itself faster than with the use of medical intervention. This is where her desire to help people rid themselves of pain and her philosophy for holistic remedy came together, and soon the idea for her “Classic Massage Intervention” practice was born. 

As a Licensed Therapeutic Massage Practitioner since 2008, Ursula owns and operates Classic Massage Intervention. She is committed to holistic alternative patient treatments and care by facilitating the true and innate healing powers of her clients, thereby enabling them to be at their best without medication. Her specialties lie in Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue and Sports Massages, tending to injured, overworked, weak, or otherwise non-functioning muscle and connective tissues. She evaluates physically and anatomically to find out where a problem might be coming from and employs various tested modalities such as:  Myofascial Release Techniques, Myoskeletal Alignment Work, Connective Tissue Techniques, Soft Tissue Pain Relief and Assisted Yoga or Active Isolated Stretching (The Mattes Method).  

Ursula is educated and certified in many massage modalities and techniques, and strongly believes soft tissue therapy and fascial restriction release are the true means for the elimination of chronic pain.  In her leisure time, Ursula enjoys hiking and being surrounded by nature. The beauty and the experiences nature has to offer bring her great enjoyment. She loves animals and enjoys horseback riding. Ursula is working towards becoming a vegetarian and strives to live in harmony with the environment.

Ursula is credentialed by American Specialty Health, a company empowering individuals to live healthier and longer lives to accept HSA and FSA cards for discounted musculoskeletal treatments.
